Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Auditor, Internal Audit, to join our growing team based in India. Reporting to the Director/Manager of Internal Audit in India and indirectly to the Chief Audit Executive in the United States, you will execute global audits, support risk management initiatives, and drive process improvements across business units and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and document risk-based audits (operational, financial, compliance, IT).
  • Develop and refine audit programs and testing strategies.
  • Conduct walkthroughs, evaluate internal controls, and identify process inefficiencies.
  • Support SOX compliance efforts with control testing and issue tracking.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and communicate audit findings.
  • Prepare high-quality audit workpapers and reports.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of audit methodology using data analytics and automation tools.
  • Assist with development of audit plans, risk assessments, and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA (strongly preferred).
  • 4–6 years of internal or external audit experience within a multinational environment or Big 4 firm.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management practices.
  • Experience with SOX 404 testing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analytics tools (Excel, ACL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a hybrid/remote work arrangement.

Working Hours and Travel

  • Flexibility to work with U.S. and global time zones.
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to 15%).
