The Commercial Banking Development Program - Credit Analyst at Western Alliance Bank is an entry-level role focused on analyzing financial data, assessing credit risk, and developing detailed credit studies for the bank’s executive management. This role involves spreading and managing financial background information on present and prospective customers, preparing various credit department reports, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for:
- Spreading and managing financial background information for customers.
- Developing credit studies for Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer, and Executive Management.
- Conducting financial analyses including sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk.
- Preparing in-depth reports with actionable plans based on qualitative and quantitative research.
- Collaborating with various Bank groups to prepare loan packages and manage treasury products.
- Facilitating reporting with external parties such as auditors and appraisers.
- Monitoring loan disbursements to ensure compliance with Bank regulations.
What You Will Need
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completion of an Accounting course.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- An interest in Commercial Banking and the ability to work without supervision.
- Basic speaking and writing communication skills.
