At West Star Aviation, we thrive when our customers thrive. We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager, Paint & Interior in Perryville. This role involves targeting paint and interior upgrade opportunities and providing technical analysis for work packages.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Development and Sales to meet annual objectives.
- Utilize Salesforce.com, AMSTAT, Corridor, and other aviation databases to identify sales opportunities.
- Work with Regional Sales, Technical Sales Managers, and Modification Sales Managers on regional opportunities.
- Contact customers regarding their paint and interior upgrade status.
- Provide technical support with requirements, proposal terms, and conditions.
- Collaborate with design teams during customer specification sessions.
- Prepare sales presentations, contract reviews and proposals.
- Coordinate with Contract Administrators on RFQs and technical data accuracy.
- Conduct cost analysis comparing historical job costs to current proposals.
- Monitor company adherence to proposals and work scopes.
- Attend industry trade shows and vendor events to develop relationships.
- Establish vendor relationships for future upgrades and materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of paint and interior experience in business aviation MRO.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in aviation technology or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge and progressive experience.
- Excellent communication, planning, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a clear record.
