Technical Sales Manager, Paint & Interior

At West Star Aviation, we thrive when our customers thrive. We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager, Paint & Interior in Perryville. This role involves targeting paint and interior upgrade opportunities and providing technical analysis for work packages.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Development and Sales to meet annual objectives.
• Utilize Salesforce.com, AMSTAT, Corridor, and other aviation databases to identify sales opportunities.
• Work with Regional Sales, Technical Sales Managers, and Modification Sales Managers on regional opportunities.
• Contact customers regarding their paint and interior upgrade status.
• Provide technical support with requirements, proposal terms, and conditions.
• Collaborate with design teams during customer specification sessions.
• Prepare sales presentations, contract reviews and proposals.
• Coordinate with Contract Administrators on RFQs and technical data accuracy.
• Conduct cost analysis comparing historical job costs to current proposals.
• Monitor company adherence to proposals and work scopes.
• Attend industry trade shows and vendor events to develop relationships.
• Establish vendor relationships for future upgrades and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paint and interior experience in business aviation MRO.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in aviation technology or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge and progressive experience.
• Excellent communication, planning, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a clear record.
