The Opportunity: Founding AI Engineer/Product/Business Co-Founder

WERT AI is actively assembling its founding team and is seeking two Founding AI Engineer/Product/Business Co-Founders. This early-stage role offers a unique chance to lay the foundational groundwork for both the business and its product. It is perfectly suited for individuals passionate about building a company from the ground up, possessing either robust technical capabilities or extensive industry and venture experience.

What You Will Do

Working directly alongside the founder, your responsibilities will include:

• Building and evolving the TriageOS platform.
• Validating the product with crucial industrial customers.
• Helping to shape the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and future product roadmaps.
• Supporting customer discovery initiatives and pilot partnerships.
• Contributing to the preparation of the company for its pre-seed funding round.

This is an equity-based founding role, offering significant ownership in WERT AI.

Key Responsibilities (Depending on Background)

Product & Technology

• Designing and building core components of the TriageOS platform.
• Developing scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Building AI pipelines for analyzing industrial service data.
• Integrating multiple data sources like logs, alarms, and service records.
• Designing robust architecture for a production-ready system.

Customer Discovery & Market Development

• Conducting in-depth customer discovery interviews with industrial companies.
• Identifying critical pain points within industrial service workflows.
• Supporting the definition of the MVP and initial use cases.
• Securing design partners, pilot customers, and Letters of Intent (LOIs).

Fundraising & Growth

• Contributing to the overall go-to-market strategy.
• Supporting relationships with investors and strategic partners.
• Assisting in preparing the company for a successful pre-seed fundraising round.

Who We Are Looking For

WERT AI welcomes candidates with diverse backgrounds, including technical, industrial, or venture experience.

Technical Profile

• Strong software development skills (Python, Java, or similar).
• Experience with AI / machine learning frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with APIs, databases, and data pipelines.
• A keen interest in building scalable AI-driven platforms.

Industry / Venture Profile

• Experience in manufacturing, Maschinenbau, industrial engineering, or field service.
• Exposure to startups, venture capital, or venture building.
• Strong ability in customer discovery and market validation.
• Proven experience building relationships with industrial partners or enterprise clients.

Essential Traits

• Entrepreneurial mindset thriving in early-stage startups.
• Strong problem-solving ability and ownership mentality.
• Passion for industrial innovation and AI-driven technologies.
• Capability to collaborate across technical and business domains.
• Fluent communication in English; German is a strong plus.
• Prior experience in founding or scaling startups is a plus, not required.
