Position Summary

The Clinical Applications Consultant - Autoimmune - New England ensures total customer satisfaction within the Werfen installed base. This role involves installation, validation/verification, and training on Werfen analyzers. The consultant provides ongoing clinical support, customer education and consults on regulatory requirements and compliance.

Key Accountabilities

The candidate will:

  • Perform IL instrument installations, validations/verifications and training inside and outside the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate the instrument go-live process with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction and maintain the installed base.
  • Provide customer clinical and technical support, including training on proper operation and clinical utilization.
  • Maintain technical and competitive product competency.
  • Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Data Management Systems support activities.
  • Identify opportunities to penetrate current installed base and assist with lead generation.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and participate in seminars, workshops and conventions.
  • Manage account lists, customer databases, and expense budgets.

Qualifications

Education: Associates in Medical Technology (preferred), Respiratory Therapy, Nursing or related scientific discipline; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience: 2-3 years in a lab or clinical setting.Additional Skills: Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and fluency in English.

Travel & Mobility

This position requires approximately 80% travel and does not require international mobility.
