About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Director Cybersecurity in Identity Access Management Engineering. This role leads modernization efforts across our identity infrastructure, focusing on Azure Active Directory and legacy AD environments to enhance security, enable seamless access experiences, and align with Zero Trust principles in a highly regulated financial environment.
In This Role, You Will
- Serve as the accountable executive for identity posture improvement, risk reduction, and modernization outcomes.
- Manage a team of engineering managers and leads, delivering strategic commitments.
- Develop actionable roadmaps, modern identity capabilities and guide financial management.
- Lead engineering innovation and talent development while managing projects.
- Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums.
Required & Desired Qualifications
Minimum requirements include 8+ years in Technology Strategic Leadership with 4+ years of management experience and 5+ years specializing in Identity Access Management, particularly with Azure AD/Entra AD and traditional Active Directory. Candidate should have strong technical skills including scripting (PowerShell, Graph API) and deep understanding of identity protocols, Zero Trust architecture, and regulatory frameworks.
Locations & Compensation
Job locations include Columbus, OH; Irving, TX; and Iselin, NJ. Salary is determined by job location with a base range roughly between $215,000 and $355,000, plus potential discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive awards.
