About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a responsible manager for leading a key function in the Commercial Lending & Capital Finance Banking Technology (CLCFS) platform management team. This role involves managing the lifecycle of applications maintenance including monitoring, support, deployment, and governance. The position is accountable for overall application availability, service management, and platform engineering for CB Loan Originations.

In This Role, You Will

  • Manage a Systems Operations team of analysts to monitor systems and infrastructure.
  • Engage stakeholders and internal partners in the Systems Operations function.
  • Identify opportunities to increase system efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operating systems and application software.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with IT personnel, analysts, and vendors.
  • Manage resource allocation and talent development of the team.

Job Expectations

  • Oversee operational management of Loan Originations applications and monitor platform availability.
  • Provide technical guidance and prioritize initiatives to resolve operational challenges.
  • Develop and maintain SLA and Business Continuity Plans.
  • Drive application stability through incident monitoring and resolution.
  • Champion service delivery improvements via automation and proactive monitoring.
  • Engage with Operations and leadership to drive transformational initiatives.

Required & Desired Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience.
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience with mid to highly experienced analysts.
  • Experience managing teams and engaging with senior leaders globally.
  • Deep knowledge of IT Service Management practices and production support in financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and Netcool.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and change management skills.
