About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a motivated Senior Information Security Engineer Cryptographic Products and Services to join an exciting, fast paced team working on cutting edge encryption, tokenization and key management technologies used companywide. This individual contributor role involves designing, deploying and operationally maintaining cryptographic products including Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and security appliances.

In This Role, You Will

  • Design, deploy and maintain HSMs and security appliances.
  • Drive automation strategies for encryption, tokenization and key management.
  • Develop service health features using Syslog, Splunk, and Prometheus.
  • Evaluate and test new cryptographic products and services.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and guides.
  • Support audits, incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in agile scrum and Kanban processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of scripting/automation experience using Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.
  • Experience designing and deploying cryptographic solutions (HSMs, appliances).
  • Experience with change and incident management practices in large environments.

Desired Qualifications

  • DevOps and CI/CD automated build and deployment experience.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Expertise in advanced scripting for log rotation, data collection and alerting.
  • Background in application development and support on Linux and Windows.
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, GIAC, cloud certifications) are a plus.

Job Expectations & Work Environment

This position requires onsite hybrid work: 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Occasional travel up to 10% may be necessary. Wells Fargo values compliance, risk management and strong communication skills.
