About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an Equity Research Junior Analyst - Metals and Mining. This role is part of the Corporate & Investment Bank division which offers comprehensive banking, capital markets, and advisory solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental equity research with a focus on Metals and Mining.
  • Create and update detailed financial models and forecasts.
  • Communicate research findings to both internal stakeholders and institutional clients.
  • Collaborate across teams including Equity Sales, Cash Trading, Derivatives, and Wealth Management.
  • Attend industry events and maintain strong professional relationships.

Qualifications

Required: At least 6+ months of experience in securities investment research, financial services, or related fields. Desired: A BS/BA or higher along with 1+ year of relevant equity research or Metals and Mining sector experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg/FactSet.

Job Expectations & Compliance

This role includes up to 10% travel and requires completion of FINRA registrations (SIE, Series 63/66, 86, 87) within 180 days of hire. Candidates must pass a background check and comply with regulatory obligations.
