Job Overview

The Quality Inspector - PM (Overnight Shift) at Wellmade Industries MFR NA LLC is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of flooring products at different stages from raw materials to final installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
  • Approve products after meeting quality standards or return for re-work.
  • Document inspection results in reports, logs, and quality databases.
  • Operate and maintain measuring equipment, ensuring proper calibration and repair.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to legal and internal standards.
  • Follow the Quality Control Training manual and take responsibility for quality incidents.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of quality control experience.
  • High school diploma; Quality Control techniques (e.g., Six Sigma) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic math, computer skills, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments such as meters, gauges, and calipers.
  • Strong attention to detail with analytic and reporting skills.

Working Conditions

This is a 12-hour rotating shift (6:45pm-7:00am) position. The role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, various temperatures, and the requirement to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Extended respirator use may be required.
