The Opportunity: Compliance Analyst Summer Student
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance, the Compliance Analyst Summer Student will gain valuable exposure to Wellington-Altus's compliance framework, reporting processes, data validation, and special projects. This role provides crucial administrative support within the Compliance team.
Key Responsibilities
Admin Support
- Assist with monitoring and answering compliance registration inbox inquiries.
- Clean and organize folders and prepare documents as required.
- Support the Compliance team with clean-up projects and initiatives.
- Take notes during meetings and training sessions.
- Support research on regulatory matters.
Data Validation & Reporting
- Support data collection and analysis efforts.
- Develop data metrics and visualizations to present information in an easily interpretable format, aiding in identifying patterns and opportunities.
- Assist in reorganizing data to create new reports.
- Provide document formatting assistance as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Wellington-Altus seeks a candidate who is currently enrolled as a first- or second-year student at a post-secondary institution and available for full-time work during the summer. Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated dependability, integrity, competence, and a strong work ethic.
- A detail-oriented approach with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills for independent and collaborative work.

Compensation & Benefits
This full-time summer position offers compensation in the range of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Wellington-Altus also offers discretionary bonuses and other perks, health insurance, accident and life insurance, and additional unique benefits per location.
