Job Summary
The District Human Resources Manager (DHRM) position provides comprehensive HR support in the areas of associate relations/engagement, talent acquisition, learning and development, and employment law compliance. The DHRM partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, providing advice and counsel to business partners to ensure alignment with company objectives. This position is responsible for locations throughout Maryland and Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
- Associate Relations/Engagement: Investigate and resolve associate relations issues, provide guidance to management on conflict resolution and performance, conduct store visits, foster trusting relationships, and coordinate initiatives to improve engagement, retention, and workplace culture. Support stores in creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Talent Management: Oversee recruitment centers, staffing, and onboarding of new hires. Facilitate strategic workforce planning and identify/implement strategies to attract key talent.
- Learning and Development: Facilitate in-person and virtual training workshops, collaborate with business partners to align learning initiatives with business goals and development plans, and oversee the utilization of the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Employment Law Compliance: Maintain knowledge of HR trends, regulatory changes, and employment laws. Ensure store teams adhere to all federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain HR compliance standards through documentation, audits, and procedural updates.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This associate oversees the District Operations Recruiters within their assigned locations.

Maryland: Accokeek, Callaway, La Plata, Leonardtown, Lexington Park, Lusby, Mitchellville, Prince Frederick, Solomons, and Upper Marlboro.
Virginia: Culpeper, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford.
