Website Marketing Manager
Weill Cornell Medicine is seeking a Website Marketing Manager to lead strategic digital marketing initiatives focused on driving traffic, engagement, and patient conversion through their patient care website. This role is based in Midtown and operates on a Monday-Friday schedule with 35 weekly hours. The position is exempt and offers a salary range of $121,600.00 - $133,100.00.
Job Responsibilities
The Website Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic vision and execution of enterprise-level website marketing initiatives aimed at patient acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. This includes acting as the digital front door for healthcare services. Key duties involve championing cross-functional collaboration with IT, design, clinical departments, and marketing stakeholders to align digital initiatives with institutional goals and ensure a seamless, patient-centric experience. The manager will also maintain website content using Drupal, ensuring accuracy, consistency, brand adherence, and accessibility. Integration with broader digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, and paid media is crucial. The role requires architecting and implementing advanced digital content strategies optimized for discoverability, accessibility, and performance across search engines and AI platforms like ChatGPT, Bing Copilot, and Google SGE. This includes overseeing AI-optimized content frameworks, semantic structuring, schema markup, and metadata enrichment to enhance visibility in generative AI outputs and conversational search. A robust analytics ecosystem will be managed to monitor user behavior and engagement from AI-powered platforms, translating insights into actionable strategies. Staying ahead of emerging digital trends like generative AI, voice search, and machine learning in healthcare marketing is expected, along with proactive strategy adaptation. The role also drives innovation in conversion rate optimization (CRO) through data-driven experimentation, A/B testing, personalization, and UX enhancements impacting lead generation and appointment bookings. Finally, the manager will partner with internal teams to develop tailored landing pages and microsites.
Education
A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is required.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing is necessary, with at least 3 years specifically focused on website strategy and execution. Proven experience managing websites using Drupal CMS is mandatory. Experience in healthcare marketing or with public health institutions is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies across the digital funnel, along with experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other performance tracking tools, is also required.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
This role operates within a hybrid work environment, with occasional travel within NYC for meetings and site visits.
