The Data group at Weights & Biases is instrumental in addressing a broad spectrum of data-related initiatives:
- We empower business partners to define goals, make informed decisions, and identify key drivers for success.

About The Data Analyst - Product Role
As a Data Analyst for our Product group, you will be deeply embedded within product teams. Your primary responsibility will be to provide critical insights into product performance, identify areas for improvement, and guide future strategic direction. You will meticulously analyze usage data, design and execute experiments, and develop intuitive reporting to help Product Managers and engineers understand how customers interact with Weights & Biases products. Your rigorous analyses will directly influence product roadmap decisions.
Who You Are
You are an enthusiastic explorer of user behavior, skilled at uncovering patterns within complex product data. You thrive on collaboration with Product Managers and engineers, driven by the desire to shape product decisions through data-driven insights. You are adept at writing advanced SQL queries, executing A/B tests, and articulating your findings clearly in plain English.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience handling large, event-driven datasets.
- Solid understanding of analytical and statistical methods for data analysis, hypothesis testing, and causal inference.
- Familiarity with core analytics concepts such as funnels, retention, cohort analysis, and experiment design.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with PMs and engineers, translating ambiguous questions into structured, actionable analyses.
- Track record of producing clean, well-documented code for your projects.
- Experience with dbt, Hex, and various experimentation platforms is a valuable plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary and target total cash for this position range from $139,000 to $204,000. Compensation is determined by factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
