About Med+ and the GLP-1 Program
Med+ is a telehealth service offering access to certified clinicians, GLP-1 medications, and a specialized GLP-1 program. This program is designed to guide and support individuals taking GLP-1 weight-loss medications, recognizing that weight health is unique to each person. Med+ provides a supportive community and tips for developing healthy habits.What We're Looking For: Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with the following qualifications:- Degree from an accredited university.
- Currently board-certified by ANCC or AANP (Family, Adult, or Adult Gerontology).
- 2-3 years of general practice experience post-residency, with a preference for obesity medicine experience.
- 1+ year of telemedicine experience, understanding both sync and async practice.
- Experience with menopause management is preferred.
- Proficiency in using online tools and technology for patient care and communication, maintaining an excellent virtual "bedside" manner.
- Availability for 10-15 hours per week, including at least 8 hours for synchronous visits, with 2-4 hours daily Monday through Friday.
- Must hold at least 2-3 active state licenses.
- Proficiency in Zoom, Google Workspace (G Cal), and Slack.
- Requires an operating system with at least 16GB memory (Mac OS 26.0 or higher or Windows 11; Chrome OS is not supported).
What You’ll Do as a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner
Build a patient panel with a focus on continuity of care. Provide compassionate, patient-centered clinical care via the Med+ telehealth platform. Review and discuss patient intake information and medical history through video and chat consultations to offer clinical guidance and treatment. Maintain ongoing patient relationships through regular treatment evaluations and progress check-ins. Educate patients on obesity principles, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments.Benefits and Compensation
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role. Compensation is variable based on skills, experience, and location. Enjoy flexible scheduling and remote work. Malpractice insurance is provided.
