About the role
Cloud Consultant at Webscale Oy
Webscale designs, builds, and maintains cloud environments that keep customer digital services operational and ready for growth. Since 2013, we have helped clients with cloud design, implementation, and ongoing management, from individual development needs to extensive, business-critical solutions. We work with both growth companies and large organizations, always adapting to the client's goals. Customer satisfaction is evident in our work, with our latest NPS score being 86.
Your Role
In customer projects, you will act as a technical expert and a trusted partner to the client. You will be involved in designing and implementing solutions, ensuring they are technically functional, scalable, and support the client's business. You will work on various assignments of different lengths. Your role will be shaped by your skills and interests. Daily work involves a combination of independent tasks and collaboration with the client and your own team. You will be involved in moving solutions forward practically, not just planning them.
What We Expect From You
- At least two years of experience with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to utilize AI tools in your work.
- Familiarity with application development processes and tools, and proficiency in at least one commonly used programming language (TypeScript, Python).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
- Understanding of what consultancy work entails. You may have experience working as a consultant or have worked in various operating environments.
- Fluent communication in Finnish and English.
- Ability to work approximately 2 days a week at Webscale's office or client sites in the Helsinki metropolitan area, as needed.

In this position, depending on your skills, experience, and ability to take responsibility, you can earn an average of €55,000 - €95,000 annually. This consists of a fixed monthly salary and a bonus of up to 15% of the monthly salary. In addition, there are several employee benefits and potential on-call and performance-based bonuses.
