SAP Automation Pilot Engineer - Remote
We are looking for an experienced SAP Automation Pilot Engineer to design and implement automated operational workflows on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate will focus on reducing manual effort through event-driven automation, scheduled runbooks, and auto-remediation — helping teams maintain system stability and uptime with minimal human intervention. This role is focused on the SAP Automation Pilot tool for DevOps/BTP Ops — not SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA) or RPA.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage automation runbooks using SAP Automation Pilot for operational tasks such as service restarts, health checks, log collection, and cache clearing.
- Integrate automation workflows with SAP Alert Notification Service for event-triggered execution.
- Develop scheduled and on-demand automation procedures for routine SAP BTP maintenance.
- Work with DevOps and Cloud Operations teams to identify and automate repetitive manual tasks.
- Monitor automation executions, handle failures, and improve runbook reliability over time.
- Maintain documentation for automation workflows, triggers, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of experience in SAP BTP operations or cloud infrastructure.
