About The Investment Research Team
The Investment Research Team is at the core of every investment product designed at Wealthsimple. Our team combines deep market expertise with strategic vision, developing best-in-class investment strategies that serve our growing client base. We analyze financial products and securities with a data-driven approach, ensuring our offerings meet client needs while aligning with our mission to empower people with financial freedom.
In this Senior Analyst, Investment Research role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build and manage best-in-class private asset offerings for Wealthsimple clients.
- Collaborate across teams—including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering—to support high-priority initiatives.
- Translate investor needs into clear requirements and analyses that inform key investment and business decisions.
- Stay ahead of private market trends to ensure our investment products remain competitive and innovative in the retail wealth management space.
- Take ownership and deliver results—we believe in shipping fast and learning along the way.
- Work remotely, from anywhere in Canada (our offices are in Toronto, but we are a remote-first workforce).
What you’ll bring:
- 2–4 years of relevant private markets experience, particularly in manager selection and ongoing monitoring, with demonstrated strength in research, analytical, and quantitative skills.
