Internship Overview

This internship is a 4 to 8-month program open to Canadian post-secondary students, technical bootcamp attendees, and recent graduates. You will work full-time and contribute to real product initiatives within the Design team in areas including Investing and Banking. The program follows a hybrid work model, with in-person work at our Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior and Staff Product Designers on live projects
• Own smaller projects from problem identification to production
• Design high-quality UI and interactions, enhancing product thinking
• Work closely with product managers and engineers
• Participate in customer research and feedback sessions

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience using Figma, a strong interest in digital product design, and a passion for Wealthsimple's mission. You should be curious, motivated, and ready to learn fast in a collaborative setting. Experience with prototyping or AI-assisted tools is a plus.
