Position Overview

The Data Insights Analyst Intern role is a 90-day internship position requiring 10-12 hours per week. You will lead the development of data solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into actionable insights, and designing dynamic dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Salesforce.

Primary Job Functions

  • Business Requirements & BI Solution Development: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to turn needs into BI solutions, build dashboards, and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Data Visualization & Storytelling: Create compelling visualizations that communicate trends to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Data Integration & Reporting Support: Support data teams with integration, validation, and quality checks for robust reporting.
  • Collaboration & Technical Support: Translate business needs into technical requirements and assist in planning scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, or related field (or currently pursuing). Experience in Power BI or similar tools with a dashboard portfolio, SQL, Salesforce reporting, and ETL processes. Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, Python or R is a plus. Strong analytical, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
