The Role
As the Lumen Finance and Accounting Analyst Intern, you will:
- Explore AI in Finance with real use cases.
- Dive into traditional finance tasks like budgeting and forecasting.
- Work on process improvement projects to streamline workflows.
- Gain exposure to efficiency & automation using AI agents.
- Analyze data and build models for quantitative finance strategies.

What We Look For in a Candidate
Required qualifications:
- Enrollment at a 4-year accredited college with rising senior status.
- Graduation between August 2026 – May 2028.
- Preferred fields: Business, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Seeking candidates with an analytical mindset, attention to detail, interest in emerging AI technologies, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with data analysis tools and GenAI tools. Professional demeanor and strong cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.
Compensation
This internship is hourly compensated between $26 and $38 per hour, with pay adjusted based on education, geographic location, and experience.
Application Process
After submitting your application, you will complete a virtual assessment followed by a video interview. Interview rounds begin in October, with final offers by December. A background screening may be conducted on successful candidates.
