Northrop Grumman is seeking Cybersecurity Engineers for a summer internship opportunity. This position will be located in our Corporate Office at VIRTUAL/REMOTE.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Cyber Policy organization. The selected candidate will work on a fast-moving team with increasing responsibility as NG frames its Cybersecurity policy readiness for 2026-27.
Internship Responsibilities
As a 2026 Cybersecurity Technical Intern, you’ll participate in a program to develop competencies in a variety of Cybersecurity policy specializations that may include:
- Analyze and evaluate technical policies and procedures.
- Develop websites for sharing best cybersecurity practices across the enterprise.
- Deliver policy projections and offerings.
- Encourage government policy decisions.
- Develop and support key customer relationships.
The ideal candidate will also possess good presentation and writing/communication skills, be self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.
Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria:
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026.
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field.
- Be available to work full-time for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
Intern Pay Range
Northrop Grumman's internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
- Bachelor’s: $19.75 to $36.25 per hour
- Master’s: $28.50 to $44.75 per hour
