Role Overview: Technical Program Manager Release
Waymo's Technical Program Managers are responsible for executing roadmap plans through detailed cross-functional planning, clear communication, and proactive risk management. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring that release tasks are executed efficiently and consistently improving the release processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure release tasks are followed and on track
- Communicate and facilitate resolution of issues
- Continuously improve processes for efficient releases
Requirements
- 2+ years managing software releases
- 2+ years managing technical projects
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle
- Understanding of system architecture and design principles
- Quality Assurance experience
- Ability to analyze source code for system requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Program Management experience
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and workflows
- Expertise in computer programming
- Experience as a Release Engineer
Additional Information
This is a remote position, although Waymo may have location specific details during the interview process. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, discretionary annual bonus, equity incentive plan, and a comprehensive benefits program.
