Role Overview: Technical Program Manager Release

Waymo's Technical Program Managers are responsible for executing roadmap plans through detailed cross-functional planning, clear communication, and proactive risk management. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring that release tasks are executed efficiently and consistently improving the release processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure release tasks are followed and on track
• Communicate and facilitate resolution of issues
• Continuously improve processes for efficient releases

Requirements

• 2+ years managing software releases
• 2+ years managing technical projects
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle
• Understanding of system architecture and design principles
• Quality Assurance experience
• Ability to analyze source code for system requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Program Management experience
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and workflows
• Expertise in computer programming
• Experience as a Release Engineer

Additional Information

This is a remote position, although Waymo may have location specific details during the interview process. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, discretionary annual bonus, equity incentive plan, and a comprehensive benefits program.
