How You Will Help

As a Software Engineer DevEx LLM Focus, you will drive research, prototyping, and integration of LLM-powered tools designed to enhance internal engineering workflows. In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the DevEx on-duty rotation to identify and resolve SDLC pain points.
  • Build internal tooling such as code review assistants and automated documentation generators.
  • Collaborate with Product and Platform teams to accelerate company-wide LLM adoption.
  • Evaluate and refine prompt strategies, fine-tuning, and RAG pipelines.
  • Ensure quality, scalability, and security of AI-assisted developer workflows.

Potential Projects & Stack

Projects may include building an AI code review assistant, embeddings-based code search, an internal developer knowledge assistant, and securing internal vibe-coding infrastructure. Our tech stack includes Python 3, mypy, GraphQL, Kotlin/Jetpack, Swift/SwiftUI, TypeScript/React, Postgres, GCP/Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Key Details

This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be based in one of our talent hub countries or operating markets in Africa. A yearly $1,200 stipend supports coworking meetups and travel to operational markets is expected annually. Competitive salaries, equity packages, and extensive benefits are offered.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs or NLP systems including prompt engineering and RAG.
  • Strong programming skills, especially in Python.
  • Experience deploying and monitoring cloud services.
  • Fluency in English; French is a bonus.
