How You'll Help Us Achieve It
As a Product Manager at Wave Mobile Money, you will lead cross-functional teams with full ownership of your product domain. Your responsibilities include defining product goals, metrics, and roadmaps based on user needs and mission impact; driving user research in Africa; writing clear design documents; and aligning teams through effective communication.
In This Role, You'll
- Own a product or feature holistically, including internal tooling.
- Gather continuous feedback from users and data.
- Work from first principles to address major user problems.
- Prioritize issues that block product growth.
- Manage a small product team in rapid iteration cycles.
Key Details
This is a fully remote role open to candidates in key talent hubs (UK, Spain, USA, Canada, Kenya, and Ghana) or in operating markets (Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso). Remote team members are expected to travel quarterly to operational markets. Salaries are competitive and determined transparently, ranging from $142,200 to $213,400 USD with a generous equity package, along with additional benefits like subsidised health insurance, parental leave, flexible vacation, and charitable donation matching.
What We Require
- 5+ years of product management experience in fast-paced environments.
- Proven success in managing the lifecycle of product development.
- Fluency in English; conversational French is a bonus.
- Experience in consumer fintech and/or mobile money systems is an advantage.
