About The Operator Role
The Operator role in St. Louis, MO, presents a challenging opportunity for an individual interested in producing high-quality products that enrich lives. This position contributes to all phases of the production process, leveraging autonomy, mastery, and purpose. Working under direct supervision, the Operator performs standardized duties and tasks following established procedures or written instructions. The ideal candidate will excel working both individually and as part of a team.
Hours: 6:45am to 3:15pm
Pay: $19.06 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions meticulously.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment, tools, and machinery, including complex systems, for product preparation and assembly.
- Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Achieve production metrics, including takt time.
- Complete and file necessary reports, manufacturing orders, scrap, rejects, and production times accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend measurements.
- Capability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in teams.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 30 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED certificate or equivalent.
- Up to three years of related work experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge with basic computer systems.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Willingness to be a cross-functional team member.
- Desire to learn new skills and follow directions.
- Good hand dexterity is desired.
