About the Role
The Senior IT Systems Engineer at Wasabi Technologies supports the scaling and reliability of IT systems as the company grows. Working on the Business Systems team, you will manage core IT platforms, cloud collaboration tools, and hardware assets, while contributing to strategic initiatives and providing hands-on end-user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and improve business-critical IT systems, including upgrades and new tool rollouts.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize the company’s SaaS application portfolio for reliability, security, and scalability.
- Support and manage the company’s AI tools and provide escalated IT support for a global, remote workforce of 500+ users.
- Troubleshoot across software, hardware, cloud services, and endpoints.
- Manage laptops and IT assets from purchase through lifecycle and compliance.
- Use automation and AI to improve support, documentation, and IT operations.
Requirements
Applicants must have 5+ years of systems or IT engineering experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and strong IAM and security expertise including Okta and cloud security tools like Netskope. Experience in supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux in remote environments along with familiarity with MDM and endpoint tools (Jamf, Intune) is essential. Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Slack, and Zoom is required. The candidate should be comfortable automating tasks and communicating clearly in a fast-paced environment.
