Job Description
Data Software Engineer
Job Overview We are looking for a Data Software Engineer (H/F) to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data systems. You will play a key role in building data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop and optimize data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses)
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams
- Implement and maintain data APIs and services
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows
- Apply data governance and security best practices
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Experience with big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with data pipeline/orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
- Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes is a plus
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in data/software engineering
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Fluent in English; French is a strong plus
