Data Software Engineer

Job Overview We are looking for a Data Software Engineer (H/F) to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data systems. You will play a key role in building data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Develop and optimize data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams
• Implement and maintain data APIs and services
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows
• Apply data governance and security best practices

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Experience with big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with data pipeline/orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes is a plus

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in data/software engineering
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Fluent in English; French is a strong plus
