In this pivotal role, you'll lead a skilled team working at the crossroads of technology, data, and operations. Together, you will:

• Maintain and improve the Operations and Performance Maximization tools and processes across the Marine and Energy businesses.
• Develop tailor‑made, fast‑acting solutions for complex operational challenges which occurred in the field.
• Accelerate data‑driven research and development of smart algorithms that helps prevent failures before they happen.
• Ensure to be front runners in making sophisticated solutions which decreases the total cost of maintenance for our customers.

You will shape how Wärtsilä works and what is built—ensuring processes and tools operate efficiently and deliver value where it counts. Wärtsilä trusts its people to take ownership, make decisions, navigate through different stakeholder needs, and deliver results.

You’ll collaborate closely with talented engineers, data scientists, domain experts, and colleagues across R&D, Technical Services, Agreement Product Management, Digital Development, and Agreement Delivery.

Requirements

To succeed as a Manager, Operations Processes and Tools, Wärtsilä expects candidates to have:

• Degree in Information Technology / Engineering / Data Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years leadership experience in software development, data analytics or digital research.
• 2+ years Experience in leading agile software (e.g., SCRUM) teams delivering innovative solutions.
• Proven track record of successful stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Preferably knowledge of Marine or Energy Business.
