About Warner Records Digital Marketing Team

The mission of Warner Records Digital Marketing department is to drive fandom, music consumption, D2C purchases, and social conversation/engagement using innovative digital marketing strategies. The team is responsible for all aspects of an artist’s digital presence including digital narrative development, digital advertising, social content ideation, influencer campaigns, digital advertising, CRM, social/digital partner activations, content seeding, websites, etc. We work directly with the artists to translate the vision of their music into groundbreaking digital campaigns and provide in-depth creative consulting geared toward growing a highly engaged fanbase.

Your Role as a Coordinator, Digital Marketing

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is a key part of the overall daily digital operations at Warner Records. This role will work with the Digital Marketing Strategists to ensure all artist releases are functioning at the highest level. This is also a key pathway to growing your career in Digital Marketing. A successful coordinator will have a strong attention to detail with creative and big ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Digital Marketing Team on execution and implementation of digital marketing campaigns and strategic audience development strategies.
  • Send Assets (Artwork/Video) to design team for asset creation to support all releases.
  • Participate in weekly brainstorms about our artists’ digital strategies.
  • Create custom ticket links as needed (for releases, ticket sales, streams, etc).
  • QA and upload social assets for artist channels, updating content over the lifecycle of a song or album.
  • Add tour and livestream dates to artist websites and social media.
  • Strategize and create copy + content for and post to all official Warner Records social channels including our TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook.
  • Assist with quick design tasks like changing text or resizing existing images.
  • Flag potential problems as seen on social (negative comments, talk of leaks, etc).
  • Support department VP with admin tasks like scheduling.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as Marketing, Production, and A&R Admin to set up for releases across multiple artists.

What We're Looking For:

  • Knowledge of and passion for social media platforms, websites, music streaming services, and apps.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with added attention to details and deadlines.
  • Experience in social media marketing/management, direct to consumer marketing, and/or content creation.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with both creative and business-oriented colleagues and partners.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premier.
  • Experience creating content for TikTok, Snap, IG Reels and others.
  • Experience working with artists and managers directly.
