About the A&R Team
Atlantic Records, part of WMG, is a talent-driven record label powered by A&R. The A&R department scouts and signs new talent while supporting the production of records for established artists.
Your Role as Coordinator, A&R
This role supports the New York-based A&R team for Atlantic Records and 10k Records, providing administrative and coordination support across every aspect of the A&R process. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as liaison between the label, artists, and management.
- Coordinating with marketing, sales, legal, and other departments.
- Assisting with song creation, record production, and maintain artist relationships.
- Scouting and researching new talent and compiling weekly reports.
- Scheduling meetings, managing travel, and covering studio sessions.
About You
You are self-motivated, detail oriented, and an excellent communicator with a passion for music discovery. Previous music industry and A&R experience, as well as proficiency in Google Workspace, are preferred.
Additional Information
This position requires a minimum of four days per week in the office in New York, NY. Salary is hourly with ranges from $21.79 to $23.07, based on experience and other factors.
