Job Overview
The Privacy Technology Manager role at Warner Bros. Discovery is focused on privacy-enabling technologies with a strong technical background. The successful candidate will lead Consent Management initiatives, support DSAR operations and policy management, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure privacy compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Product Owner for consent-related features and workflows.
- Lead implementation and optimization of CMPs such as OneTrust.
- Advise on digital consent strategies across web and mobile.
- Collaborate with legal, marketing, and engineering teams ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Monitor consent metrics and support DSAR automation tools.
- Enhance privacy policy management systems and implement privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Partner with IT and security teams to embed privacy controls.
Technical Skills & Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, WordPress, Java, and mobile testing tools.
- Experience with APIs, Postman, Python, and Node.js is beneficial.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, certifications like CIPP/E, CIPT or OneTrust Professional.
- Knowledge of global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD.
