Role Overview
The Editor Producer Image+Sound CNN role is focused on craft editing for next-generation content across CNN platforms. Key responsibilities include creative graphic creation, visually compelling editing, and producing content that meets strict editorial standards under fast-paced news production deadlines.
The Work
- Daily news production editing and creative graphic creation
- Producing stylized program elements including show opens and teases
- Documentary and long form editing with partner collaboration on scripting and fact-checking
- Creation of visual elements such as video, graphics, and metadata compliance
The Essentials
The ideal candidate has established working experience in a professional news or sports environment, technical expertise in editing and producing using Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Sapphire, Boris, Red Giant etc.), and a strong foundation in video production workflow. A collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast paced, evolving environment is critical. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Compensation & Benefits
Base pay ranges from $87,360 to $162,240, with additional rewards including bonuses, incentives, and comprehensive benefits.
