About The Role & Program
Disney Live Entertainment creates, produces, and delivers engaging live show experiences at Disney theme parks, resort hotels, cruise ships, and more. This internship is a full-time six-month commitment in Anaheim, CA from January 2026 to June 2026.
What You Will Do
As a crucial member of the Art Studio/Services and Scenic Fabrication Team, you will help design and implement art direction and scenic elements. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Collaborate with clients and designers on conceptual art, sketches, and scopes.
- Develop detailed scopes, budgets, and timelines with shop leads.
- Identify and assess existing warehouse assets and coordinate modifications.
- Submit project estimates and timelines for client approval.
- Update scope and production timelines with various shops.
- Monitor projects throughout construction and keep clients informed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to interface with clients and understand creative intent.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and timely delivery under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Experience with collaboration and file-sharing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and process improvement focus.
- Integrity, discretion, and a proactive self-starter attitude.
Education & Eligibility
Applicants must be a junior or beyond in college, pursuing a degree in Technical Theater, Scenic Fabrication, Theatrical Production or a related field. Must be 18+ with valid US work authorization and a US driver’s license.
Additional Information
This role is full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) and may require work during overnights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must provide their own housing during the internship and have reliable transportation in Anaheim, CA.
