About the Software Engineer III Frontend ReactJS Node GQL Role

What You'll Do

  • Build reusable React components with modular CSS and manage client data using Redux, React Query, and GraphQL.
  • Refactor and improve existing JavaScript code to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and UX teams to create intuitive user experiences.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in solving challenging programming and design problems.
  • Ship features autonomously and share knowledge via one-on-ones or lightning talks.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include 2+ years in object-oriented design, 1+ year building responsive single page applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, and a deep understanding of React and Node.js. A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent is required. Preferred candidates have a Master’s degree and experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.

Benefits & Compensation

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance-based bonuses, health benefits, 401(k), stock purchase options, paid time off, and a range of complementary benefits including a tuition education program (Live Better U). The annual salary range is $117,000.00-$234,000.00 with additional performance bonuses and stock awards available.
