Position Summary
As a Senior Analyst, Editorial at Walmart, you will be instrumental in shaping captivating content experiences across various platforms. This role focuses on leveraging comprehensive storytelling and visual narratives to engage customers, optimize online presence, and drive business objectives.
What you'll do
360 Content Storytelling and Visual Narrative
You will possess in-depth knowledge of content creation tools, organizational style guidelines, and customer behavior insights. Your responsibilities include:
- Reviewing content strategy to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Ensuring content and visual assets align with content strategies and best practices.
- Creating templates for diverse tools and media platforms, adhering to branding guidelines.
- Providing constructive, quantitative feedback to creative partners on asset outputs.
- Coaching team members on using graphic assets for storytelling and audience engagement.
- Using varied stories to consistently persuade customers across platforms.
- Advising team members on successful storytelling tactics and developing multifaceted persuasive approaches.

You will be proficient in verbal and nonverbal communication, business communication styles, situational awareness, and interpersonal skills for relationship building. Key responsibilities include:

Editorial Best Practices Development
You will be knowledgeable in industry editorial and content trends, research methodologies, and relevant storytelling narratives. Your contributions include:
- Supporting the documentation and implementation of editorial governance processes and practices.
- Contributing to the creation and implementation of editorial ideation and content management best practices.
- Supporting the collection of feedback and data on audience reactions to editorial approaches.
Site and Marketing Outputs
Possessing knowledge of content development guidelines across platforms and asset creation processes, you will:
- Adhere to content development processes and review guidelines for consistency and quality.
- Utilize basic tools and methodologies in content management.
- Support the development of 360 content for specific areas.
- Execute basic components of story ideation, wireframing, photoshoot planning, and asset review.
- Provide support in curating and managing the photography process.
- Identify and communicate photoshoot issues to relevant personnel.
- Support photoshoot requirements (e.g., scheduling, sample procurement).
- Follow guidelines for ideating, optimizing, and creating social media content.
- Use social media in coordination with Marketing to increase engagement.
- Research key factors for creating interactive media activations.
Campaigns and Launches
Your understanding of campaign processes, project management tools, and promotional guidelines will enable you to:
- Support the development of launch plans considering business requirements.
- Monitor promotion performance and report findings.
- Support the coordination of campaign resources.
- Execute activities within a specific scope of service.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in merchandising, visual design, business management, or related area and 1 year’s experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, merchandising, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Merchandising, Visual Design, Business Management, or related area.
