About the Role
The Facilities Maintenance Electrician at Walmart is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, and fixtures through routine preventive maintenance and major/minor repairs. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, along with other craft skills, to diagnose and resolve issues promptly. You will manage work orders, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Additionally, you'll contribute to team efforts, develop processes, and uphold company policies on ethics and integrity.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality, including inspections, cleaning, and repairs.
- Execute major and minor repairs using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.), diagnosing issues with blueprints and manuals, and responding to emergency calls.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Walmart quality standards.
- Lead and participate in teams, sharing resources and information, coordinating work, and providing support to achieve project goals.
- Develop and implement processes to meet business needs, collaborating with various stakeholders and monitoring progress.
- Promote and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in the electrical trade.
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in the state of employment.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

- Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
- Intermediate functionality with word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
