About the QA and Automation Engineer Role at WalkMe

What You Will Be Doing
- Design, plan, and analyze QA tests specifically for web applications.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, integrating seamlessly into the development cycle.
- Design and execute automated end-to-end regression and sanity tests, identifying potential gaps and deficiencies.
- Evaluate delivery readiness and uphold exceptional UX/UI standards through diligent manual testing as required.
- Conduct thorough reviews of final product functionality prior to releases.
- Manage software updates, patches, and crucial bug fixes.
What You Should Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of QA experience in manual testing, coupled with hands-on expertise in test automation for complex web applications.
- Proven experience writing automated tests in Testim.io is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in writing automated tests using Playwright.
- Experience testing APIs with tools such as Postman.
- Solid familiarity with QA methodologies and the creation of comprehensive test documentation.
- Practical experience working with DevTools (Console, Network).
- Experience with databases, particularly SQL.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail balanced with a focus on the broader strategic picture.
- Ability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
