Job Objectives
The Pharmacy Customer Service Associate models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience by registering sales on an assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and assisting the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
Job Responsibilities
Customer Experience: Engages customers by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues, and sharing customer service best practices to ensure a positive experience.
Operations: Provides fast, efficient service by recommending items, processing transactions, maintaining clean and merchandised counters, and performing various clerical and support duties for pharmacy and store operations.
Pharmacy Support: Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify medications, and assist pharmacists with workflow and error reporting.
Inventory and Merchandising: Checks inventory, prices merchandise, constructs displays, and assists with stock rotation and maintenance.
Additional Duties: Takes calls, processes manual claims, supports inventory management, and helps with store maintenance and photo area services.
Training & Personal Development
Earns and maintains PTCB certification, attends training sessions, and acquires continuing education credits to stay updated with the latest healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Qualifications
Basic: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Preferred: Six months experience in retail, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification.
Compensation
This role pays between $16 - $18 per hour. Actual compensation depends on geography, skills, and experience. The position will remain open until filled.
