WALDEVAR Energy is seeking an experienced Automation & SCADA Engineer to join our innovative team. Responsibilities of the Automation & SCADA Engineer

• Design and configure SCADA systems for process monitoring and control.
• Select automation components, including computers, licenses, PLCs, RTUs, and I/O modules.
• Configure system architecture for various automation networks.
• Install, configure, and maintain communication and control equipment, RTUs, PLCs, gateways, and SCADA servers.
• Implement HMI interfaces for real-time monitoring and control of process parameters.
• Develop and test control scripts/logics to optimize equipment operation (e.g., inverters, transformers, tracking systems).
• Ensure seamless SCADA integration with other platforms like EMS, BMS, or ERP systems.
• Participate in SCADA system expansion or modernization projects, including field testing and commissioning.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation (operating manuals, network diagrams, connection documentation).
• Elaborate connection documentation, including lists of digital/analog inputs/outputs, signals, and alarms.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Solid knowledge of industrial automation, PLC equipment, RTU, and communication protocols (Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 60870-5-103, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 61850, DNP3, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in programming and configuring SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Schneider EcoStruxure, ABB Symphony Plus, Ignition).
• Understanding of equipment specific to photovoltaic parks (inverters, loggers, transformer stations, weather stations, protection relays, energy meters).
• Proven data analysis and technical diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with energy sector regulations (ANRE).

What We Are Looking For

• Higher education in technical fields: Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Power Engineering.
• Previous experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Schneider, Ignition).
• Experience with photovoltaic power plant equipment is an advantage.
• Strong capacity for analysis, technical diagnosis, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration skills and proactive initiative in problem-solving.
• Commissioning experience is an advantage.
• Availability for travel is required.
