Job Overview
The Office of Student Affairs at Walden University is seeking a currently enrolled master’s or doctoral student to serve as a Graduate Assistant Verification Assistant. This 10-hour per week role involves representing the University during virtual appointments with students, collecting and verifying documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent the University on-camera during video-call appointments with students.
- Manage weekly availability to offer multiple appointment times including evenings/weekends.
- Conduct scheduled Zoom appointments for verification and document collection.
- Analyze student queries and provide appropriate support or referrals.
- Attend team meetings led by the Verification Manager during business hours.
- Commit approximately 40 hours per month (10 hours per week) to the role.
- Comply with all policies and standards.

- Experience handling sensitive and confidential documentation (preferred).
- Access to a private workspace with reliable internet.
- Willingness to be on-camera in professional attire or Walden-branded shirt.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom.
Qualifications
Must be a current, active Walden master’s or doctoral student (criminal justice program preferred) with at least three quarters or two semesters of enrollment. Candidates should maintain a 3.5 GPA and have no holds on their student account. Ability to perform essential job functions is required, with or without reasonable accommodations.
