Overview

The Automation/SDET Technical Lead role at W3Global requires 10-12 years of hands-on technical experience in coding and automated testing. The candidate will drive the team technically and serve as the automation point of contact.

Must Have

  • 12-15 years of relevant technical experience
  • Hands-on experience in test automation and execution
  • Proficiency in JavaScript / Node JS
  • Strong knowledge on test automation design architecture
  • Exposure to test frameworks and best practices
  • Ability to analyze requirements, design test cases, and analyze results
  • Strong logic and analytical skills
  • Experience in web app automation
  • Technical team leadership experience

Good to Have

  • Experience with Java or Python
  • Mobile app automation experience on iOS and Android
  • Familiarity with Jest or similar frameworks
  • Knowledge of CI/CD integration and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation strategies and frameworks
  • Lead, mentor, and train QA engineers
  • Oversee the development and integration of automated test scripts
  • Integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze test execution, report progress and quality metrics
  • Evaluate and implement new automation techniques and methodologies
  • Coordinate automation efforts with QA, product, and engineering teams
  • Develop code supporting team automation efforts
  • Debug test failures and framework issues
  • Communicate blockers and deliver clear updates
