Web Product Owner

About the Role

The Web Product Owner will join the Commercial IT team at W. L. Gore & Associates to drive the vision, roadmap, and prioritization for enhancements, maintenance, and integrations of GoreMedical.com and the SSO/CIAM capability. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision and strategy for global websites.
• Serve as primary point of contact for vendors and partner teams.
• Maintain and prioritize a clear product backlog aligned to business needs.
• Guide backlog refinement and planning for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Legal, Privacy, and Security teams.
• Establish requirements, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
• Incorporate feedback and data insights to continuously improve the product.
• Ensure alignment with security best practices and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field, with 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in web product development. Experience in pharma, medical device, or regulated healthcare industries and agile development methodologies is required.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and multilingual site management.
• Experience with cloud hosting environments e.g., AWS, Azure.
• Understanding of customer identity management and single sign-on experiences.
