Project Coordinator - Job Overview
W-Industries is an energy service company specializing in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. The Project Coordinator provides independent project coordination support, managing work packages, ensuring documentation accuracy, and tracking deliverables across departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain work package schedules with Project Manager collaboration.
- Track progress, flag deviations, and initiate corrective actions.
- Manage documentation control: review, update, and archive approved records.
- Coordinate meetings including agenda preparation and follow-up on action items.
- Support cost and procurement management by monitoring budgets and vendor statuses.
- Monitor issues and risks, proposing solutions and escalation summaries.
- Compile project status updates for internal and client communication.
- Oversee close-out activities ensuring all documentation is properly archived.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of project coordination experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Project, and Outlook.
- Intermediate skills in scheduling software such as MS Project.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
