About the Role
The Supervisor Sales Support Operations at VSP Vision Care leads, develops, trains, and evaluates a high-performing sales support team. The role ensures operational excellence through workforce planning, process improvement, and performance management. The supervisor ensures the team, clients, brokers, and sales representatives are well supported and aligned with broader sales, service, and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the assignment and distribution of sales support cases and tasks
- Lead team development, performance management, and accountability
- Analyze productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics to identify trends and improvements
- Plan workforce needs and adapt to peak season demands
- Develop and monitor team standards, processes, and procedures
- Utilize Salesforce CRM for task management, reporting, and optimization
- Coordinate resolution of escalated issues with clients, brokers, and sales representatives
- Manage corporate and divisional projects; communicate impacts and coordinate solutions
- Coordinate and administer training for all employees
- Participate in hiring and interviewing processes for team positions
Job Specifications
A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required. Minimum of 2 years leadership experience handling hiring, training, task assignment, and performance management is expected.
Strong customer service, communication, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are required. Experience with CRM applications, particularly Salesforce, and knowledge of sales support processes are essential.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce, including managing case/task workflows and interpreting dashboards
- Benchmarking and performance reporting experience
- Experience with client and broker onboarding processes
Compensation & Benefits
