Role: Video Editor

As a Video Editor on the Wizz Growth team, you will be instrumental in creating compelling mobile video ads that capture the attention of Gen Z (18+) and drive app installs. You will become a Gen Z culture expert, benchmarking competitor strategies and staying ahead of TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat trends to translate them into high-performing ads. Experimentation is key, and you'll be encouraged to test new creative formats, hooks, storytelling techniques, and visual styles. Leveraging AI tools will be crucial for accelerating creative production and exploring new possibilities. Developing a data-driven creative mindset is essential, as you'll need to understand how your creations perform (CTR, CPI, retention) and iterate based on insights. You will work within a dynamic creative squad with amazing people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create scroll-stopping mobile video ads targeting Gen Z (18+).
  • Drive app installs through engaging video content.
  • Analyze competitor and social media trends for creative inspiration.
  • Experiment with new creative formats, hooks, and visual styles.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance creative production.
  • Analyze ad performance data (CTR, CPI, retention) for iteration.
  • Collaborate with a diverse creative team.

Profile:

  • Fully proficient with video editing and content creation.
  • Expert in After Effects.
  • Nice to have: 3D software or AI creative tools experience.
  • Creative with a growth hacking mindset.
  • Understand how creations drive marketing performance.
  • Experience using AI tools for creative production.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role (more senior profiles welcome).
  • Deeply familiar with the mobile app market and Gen Z culture.
