Overview

The Associate Software Engineer at Volvo Group is focused on shaping sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions using next-generation technologies. This role involves end-to-end development of digital solutions and automation for Finance and Accounting functions.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will act as a Power Platform Developer. They will utilize Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, Co-pilot, MS SQL Server, Azure, and SAP S/4HANA while collaborating with Finance teams to bring process improvements to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Canvas and Model-driven apps using Power Apps.
  • Build Power BI dashboards and manage Dataverse data models.
  • Integrate Power Platform with SAP S/4HANA, SQL Server, and Azure.
  • Automate financial workflows using Power Automate and UiPath.
  • Develop APIs and connectors to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Incorporate AI tools such as Copilot to enhance usability.
  • Provide documentation, training, and support for developed solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.

Technical Skills and Expertise

  • Expertise in Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with building cloud and desktop flows.
  • Ability to build interactive dashboards and write complex DAX queries.
  • Integration experience with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL, Azure services, and API development.
  • Exposure to UiPath and agile development approaches.

Qualifications and Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3-5 years of hands-on experience is required. Excellent communication, team collaboration and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential.
