The Arrival Aid Foundation is looking for volunteers to join our communications team to help strengthen our connection with immigrant and refugee communities while growing our online presence.

Role Overview
We are looking for creative and motivated volunteers to join Arrival Aid’s Communications & Social Media Team. Volunteers will help create engaging and accessible content to promote programs, events, advocacy initiatives, and community resources across our digital platforms. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in communications, design, storytelling, social impact, community engagement, or digital media.
Responsibilities
- Designing Instagram posts, stories, and promotional graphics
- Creating reels, short-form videos, or visual content
- Writing captions, newsletters, or outreach materials
- Supporting social media planning and scheduling
- Promoting workshops, events, and community initiatives
- Helping ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and community-centered
- Brainstorming creative campaigns and engagement ideas
- Photography or event content collection (if applicable)
Qualifications
We welcome applicants of all experience levels. Ideal volunteers may have:
- Interest in social impact, community engagement, advocacy, or storytelling
- Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Canva, TikTok, or CapCut
- Creativity and willingness to collaborate
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in graphic design, photography, videography, or social media is an asset, but not required
- Passion for inclusive and accessible communication
