About Voltus
Voltus represents the "potential of us" to better manage energy through cost-free energy management products. They work with commercial and industrial customers to deliver innovative demand response, energy purchasing, and energy efficiency programs.
The Role
The Energy Markets Intern at Voltus will work closely with the energy markets team to help customers profit from energy markets. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, energetic, and intellectually curious individual with a knack for process improvement and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the role of demand-side resources in energy markets.
- Conduct regulatory and market research to identify market opportunities.
- Assist in project management including registrations, dispatches, and settlements.
- Analyze large datasets using Excel and apply business analysis skills.
- Utilize Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- For technical interns, proficiency in Python is required.
Additional Information
This is a full-time summer internship starting in May or June. Note that Voltus does not sponsor visas and expects candidates to be authorized to work from their home country (US or Canada). Voltus is an all-remote workplace with regulatory and security limitations for global remote work.
