QA Test Manager at Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions

As a QA Test Manager at Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and technical conformity of products like Tykon, a central tool for worldwide homologation. This position focuses on defining and executing comprehensive test strategies within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the definition of test strategy for the products.
  • Review and analyze system specifications.
  • Coordinate and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Create and maintain logs to document testing phases and defects.
  • Responsible for overall product Quality Assurance scope.
  • Prevent bugs and errors from the development team.
  • Help troubleshoot issues.
  • Work closely with product owners in defining the user stories acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Need

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Manager and/or Quality Manager, QA Tester, or a similar role.
  • Experience in QA methodology.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Working knowledge of test management software, namely Jira, Confluence, and xRay.
  • Knowledge in building manual tests (user perspective).
  • Ability and willingness to work in a multicultural, interdisciplinary, balanced product team.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Great English skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
  • Experience with Regression testing.
  • Experience with Automation Testing.
  • ISTQB (Foundation Level or higher) OR TMap NEXT® Test Engineer (TMPTE or higher) certifications.
